LaneZero is a gateway that forwards your API requests to model providers using credentials you supply ("BYOK"). The service is provided free of charge. We never bill you. You pay your model providers directly under your own agreements with them.
You are responsible for the provider API keys you supply, for the charges providers bill to those keys, and for complying with each provider's terms. You can store keys in our encrypted vault or send them per-request in passthrough mode, in which case we never store them.
We do not store the content of your prompts or completions. We do not resell, train on, or inspect your traffic. We record usage metadata only (model, token counts, latency, status) to show you your own usage.
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to violate a provider's terms, or to attack, overload, or probe the service or others. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that do.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability and publish our status at lanezero.betteruptime.com, but a free service carries no SLA.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars. We are not liable for provider outages, provider charges, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service or your access with reasonable notice where practical.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
